ohmyohmyohmyohmy ....

So the best thing ever happen today! Well not the best thing ever but it's a great thing for us. So I did the DITY Move briefing to day. One more thing I can check off my list. I then went to my husbands training room, to ask if there is any way that I can pick up my husbands clearing papers or do any thing to help my husband in any way so that we can leave here a little sooner. His commander asked me if I had a POA, I said Yes. To my surprise he said he didn't have a problems with it and set one of his NCO's to find out if I could do it. All I had to have was his leave form with a control number, a memorandum, and my POA. I also need some one who did not mind being my escort to and from every where. So to my surprise, not only have I got his clearing paper work, but I have also gotten some things cleared. All and all even thou I did not get some of the stuff done that I wanted to get done. I got something done that I thought would not be possible. I know that I will sleep well tonight! I'm so tired too. Running around and all that damn sun. It's only 7:00 p.m. and my bet looks really good right now. I will be happy if I can last 2 more hours. Just get a few more things done. I have to get the shed done this week too. Oh ya I for got to mention that since I got this all done for him. We leave here the 17th of June. oh goody goody, I'm so happy about it. After my appointment tomorrow I have to fax more papers to the GMH in Virginia so that they can move us up some on the list. Since we will now be getting there 2-3 weeks earlier then we thought we would be too. It will make a small difference too. I'm so happy about this. I have had a good day. Well now I must be off no more playing with the computer.

Keeping up ...

or catching up... I have not figured it out yet. I really don't want to go threw any thing any more I'm tempted just to throw every thing away. No one will miss it when it's all gone (grinning very evilly). Right now my only worry is being over weight. Just by guessing I want to say we are still 4,000 lbs over. I have a lot of wood furniture. Maybe to much wood furniture. I wonder how heavy my bedroom set it. Glad I don't have the whole set. I'm sure that would have put us way over. I bet the salvation army really loves me at the moment. I got rid of stuff that still had tags on it (can I say oops). I wish hubby had his six that way we would only be about 2,000lbs over that I think I could handle. Since we are taking some of it with us any ways. We are doing a partial DITY move. I don't think we will make any money off it thou. Unless we are under our weight limit with what the truck takes. Well time to turn off the water on the plants before I drowned them!

So .... um packing ....

Yup ... pack boy what fun, NOT! I'm so board. I didn't realize how many DVDs we have, until now. They get heavy too. I packed them in the Small boxes blah they are all between 30-35lbs each. Five boxes total. I'll probably get another half box out of the DVDs that are left. I'm tired of getting ready to move , but very happy that I am moving. I have been dreaming that all the clocks are laughing at me saying that I'll never be ready in time. Why do they give you so little time to prepare for a move? Well there is that saying in the Army ... If it makes sense the Army will not do it! It goes right up there with the ... Hurry up and wait. Blah. Or my all time pet peeve ... If the Army wanted him to have a family they would have issued him one! I just want to get my trailer weighed so that I can start packing it. The one thing I do dread packing is the Safe. Hubby said it's about 250 lbs. and we don't have a dolly. Now since hubby has the truck, I have to find some one that can take me to get it weighed. I suppose I can offer some one a 6 pack or a little gas money. It helps that the place is less then 2 miles from here. Ok I did enough procrastinating I really need to get that last box done today, and try to get a hold of some one about the trailer.

I DID IT!

Finally I got all of my husbands military gear into one closet. At least I hope I did, if he has more military gear then that I will tie the rest around his neck. The closet is huge, it 8' x 3'. The doors seem to be bursting at the seams. Since the is so much crap in there every once in a while one of the doors will pop open. Sorry I know it a useless post but dang I'm so happy. No military gear going from one end of the house to the other. I now have room in the living room to pull some more boxes out an go threw them.

Blah!

Today has been such a long day. I have done so much but I still felt like I got nothing done. Ever have one of them days? I made a really wired goal the other day, and until now I did not realize how hard that goal would be to achieve. My goal was to get rid of 3,000lbs worth of stuff before we moved. (Movers come June 18th, 19th, and the 20th, errr this means I am now under 5 weeks as of today! Shit I did not relize how little time I have left!) This goal came about since my bedroom furniture weighs about that much. With being in the military and having a wight limit we where over to begin with and now with a solid wood bedroom set that does not help matters. So that is where this goal came about. So far this week I am only up to 144lbs gone. This only includes things that I could weigh. I have several things I did not weigh and have no clue what the weight is on the items and some where to big to weigh. Like my desk, I know it was heavy it took 3 of us to carry it to my neighbors house.I have also gotten rid of a 29 gallon fish tank, 2 t.v.s the swing set, and the power wheels all of which I have no idea what they weigh but for now I am not including them into my goal. With all of that I might be up to 600lbs. I wish I would have weight what I got rid of when Eric was deployed I sure that would have been at least 1000lbs. I made more then 10 trips to the salvation army, and another 5 or 6 trips to the loan closet here on post. All the baby furniture I have given a way from Jessica. Well all except the crib because she never used it. So it is bran spanken new and still in the box. You know when the realization hits you and you know how little time you had left but you have been so busy that you really just didn't think about the time left till it smacks you in the face for some reason I still was thinking we had more time. I look at my calender daily too. wow. I dunno maybe between appointments and every thing else. The weeks are just disappearing on me. So if I really want to get rid of that much stuff that means every day I have to make sure 85lbs a day go out the door. Crap that's a lot. I know I have a lot of stuff, but the stuff that has went out already never got weigh and the very little stuff that is sitting in my front closet waiting to go off does not look like much. Makes me think I have less then what I really do. I guess if your constantly getting rid of stuff maybe! I wonder where our weight is sitting at right now with out me take another thing out the door? Well I am going to go threw another box tonight so I must git off of here, bye ya'all!

Today was just blah!

A day with no end in site. That is how I feel about today. I feel a little brain dead too. So this morning I go to transportation to sit threw the briefing but was told that I had to make an appointment for it. So why could I not have been told this before I get there! I hate it when my time is wasted. There was many other things I could have got done today in the 4 hours that was wasted today. Grrrr ... I really don't like civilians that have never been in the military that work for the government in positions that deal with the military. They create a lot of our frustrations but don't understand why we get so frustrated with them.

Until you have walked a mile in another mans shoes you will never know his woes!

Just goofing off!

So today as I was playing around I found this saying I love it and I had to share it! "Yesterday is the Past, Tomorrow is the Future, Today is a Gift, That's why it's called the Present!" I just wish that there was more to do then getting ready for the move! And playing on the Internet as I am doing now! It gets boring after a while! I am just glad that Eric graduates earlier now! So 2 weeks less to wait for him to come home but still over a month to wait! The only good thing I can say about him being gone is I drop the weight because I almost never eat when no one is around. Why make a meal for one? To my surprise I have lost 14 pounds. And no it's not from the miscarriage, I only gained about 3-4 lbs during the begging of the pregnancy and had already lot it when I went threw that. I hope that it is from the thyroid medication I am taking I have been on it for about 3 weeks now. So I hope that it is starting to take affect. By the time I see my Doctor again I will have been on it for about 6 weeks and she will do blood work up again to see if I need to have the medications upped. Well gotta run I have spent enough time sitting in this chair! I have several goals I need to get done today. Bye all!
