Move completed and still, UNPACKING ...

I truly forgot what it was like to live in a European house.  The only real cabinets are in the Kitchen and Bathrooms.  No hall closets, no shelves, no bedroom closets.  Nothing!  We don't have enough wardrobes to hang all our clothes.  The wardrobes we got here are smaller then the ones we got when we lived in the Netherlands and ours don't come with drawers like the ones in Holland did.  So after having our house hold goods since April, we still are not up packed.  To make it worse my kitchen here is so much smaller then our kitchen in the states so I don't have half the cabinet space I use to!  So I have yet to unpack most of our crap that belongs in the kitchen.   I can't wait ... really I can't.

Blogging I find is not a great thing to do when I first gets up in the morning.  O.o
I can't think. ...  Doesn't help I can't fall asleep well past 03:00 and I am back up at 05:30.  I tried to go to bed earlier, all I did was toss and turn.

It's been for ever!

I'm back ... ya I am just not good at blogging. Not because I don't like it I just don't have time for it.

So, yet again we are getting ready for another move and my husband is still deployed. Why does that not surprise me? I always take care of the moves any ways. This time I am trying not to procrastinate! The girls and I are working our butt's off to get rid of things. We are also trying to get our house rental ready too. I want to be able to let people come in and look at it in about 3 or 4 months. There is still a lot that has to be done. It was in poor shape when we bought it.

I also own a business and I am trying to dwindle things down there too. It's been hard. What should stay and what should go. There is a lot. I just might take a 3 year brake from my business. I don't know if I want to haul all that stuff with me. I should know by the end of summer if I want to or not. I guess it really depends on how much stuff I get rid of too. If I have the extra room for it.

Well that is all for now!

So I went to costcos to pick up and eliptical machine and they where already close. They close at 6:00 on a saterday. What are they thinking! Oh well thats life. While I was on that side of town I stopped in a dress store found my gown for the MP ball. It's ok not the greatest and I have to have alterations done but oh well. It's hard to find dresses when you wear plus sizes, and things tat fit semi ok!

My mother!

Any one who knows my mother knows how mean and hurtful she can be. I finally burst her bubble!!! It was great. My little brother has always been her favorite, and most people notice it right off the bat. She helps him a lot, with out asking for any thing in return. As for me she is to busy for most of the time, or when she wants to do it her timing is so off as if she does it on purpose. So since my little brother is her favorite, so is my niece. I know when I was living at Eustis my mother ticked a few of my friends off because my mother brought my niece out with her when she came to visit. Both time she was out there my mother treated her like she could do no wrong. For a 4 year old she was the meanest little shit I have ever met. My husband was so urked that my mother would treat that little brat so nicely then be mean to my kids.

Okay, so any ways. My mother is always going on and on and one about how smart my niece is. I mean it gets old after hearing her say it in every conversation. Alisae is so smart, because she is Joe's first born child. All first borns are smart ... yadda yadda ... now mind you I have 4 kids. The way she implies it she makes it sound like my other 3 kids are stupid.

I know I am getting to the point just putting in a few fillers. My mother loves it imply that Sarah is not smart. So any one whose met Sarah knows she is smart, but she is also quite and shy until she gets to know you. I think my mother mistakes this for stupidity. Sarah is also not one for talking and gabbing your ear off. She usually says what she needs to and is done with it.

Yup one more bit of filler. Because if I don't explain this the next little bit will not make any sense. For those that pay attention and know this. Belle is not Eric's child biologically. None the less he adopted her so she is still his child ... just not his first born. He treats her no differently then he does Sarah.

So lets fast forward. I said this while where still living at Fort Eustis, When Eric came home from deployment in March. So my mom starts on her little Alisae is so smart parade, and I couldn't help it. Every one knows I hold my tong around my mother so we don't come to blows. But well I just couldn't help it. I finally piped up and said ... well that explains why Sarah is so smart ... snicker snicker snicker ... My mom looked so startled, then the look came across her face like I don't think so ... and for a brief moment I think she actually forgot Eric was not Belles daddy! Then I proceeded to say Sarah must be so smart because she is Eric's first born. She doesn't dare insult my husband. I don't know why she will not insult him but she never has in the 10 and half years that we have been married. I think that if she would have tried to make my comment back fire on me she would have realized that she would have insulted Eric and there would have been no going back. She may hate me and dislike my kids but she desperately seeks Eric's appraisal. If I say that Eric will not like some thing she will not do it. If I make the comment that Eric really wants a certain some thing done she will do it, just so he doesn't have to ( I have learn over the years to use this to my advantage).

So for what 2 years + I lision to my mother tell me that Alisae is just so freakin smart (and shes only 4). When all I had to do was offend my mother by telling her that Sarah was smart too because she was Eric first born. I just realized today I that I have not heard her say it since then. It made me feel so happy to have pegged her down a notch!

Stuck in a rut!

Yup a rut. I have it that point in my life that I am tired of being in this rut. Our families biggest problem is no one ever wants to get rid of any thing ... the hole damn family are pack rats. It's driving me insane. I don't buy any thing any more because I am so tired of stuff coming in and never going out. Thank fully our Christmas is going to be very small. Each of my older girls went out and pick stuff out for each other. I really need to wrap those toys. I don't want to take the chance that one of them will see what the other one has gotten. Hubby and I will only be getting each kid one or two toys that is from us and a few clothes. That's it ... no more big stuff. I am so tired of it. So tired of stuff coming in but nothing going out. I was doing so good while we lived at Fort Eustis too. Every other month I would purge the kids closets. I would wait until after I had all the laundry done so they couldn't hide any thing in the dirty laundry. But I would make them try every thing on. If it didn't fit one they had to pass it down, if that one didn't want it it was done and gone. I would get rid of 2 or 3 trash bags of clothes that way. I never held onto it for yards sales, I would just give it away or donate it to a veterans thrift shop. I really need to go back to doing this. I found I was happy getting rid of stuff I didn't need. Now if I didn't have such a problem with getting rid of my craft stuff! I should just find all my craft stuff and put it together see what I have. See what I am willing to get rid of. I would like to see what I can use to make stuff too. I have a lot of that soft yarn the nice stuff. Maybe make a few nice shaws out of it or something. Who knows ... but it needs to go. I am so tired of cleaning out the clutter. I don't want to buy more things that hold the clutter I don't want to fill up the house any more.

You know that saying "Less is more" I think there is some truth and lots of logic to it.

Yaaaa ... I found my BLOG

I thought that I lost it forever! I forgot about it then could not remember my sign in name. I should really start writing all this stuff down. It's been a long time since the last update.

We found out that Elizabeth has LOTS of food allergies and its been very trying. Want to talk about feeling guilty all the foods that she loves she has allergies to (and I wondered why I had such a cranky baby) ... some are slight allergies but none the less almost every thing she was tested for she was allergic to. She has high allergies to bananas and milk, this sucks. Food Allergies I can handle but on this level ... She can have soy it was the first thing on the test she was tested for that she was NOT allergic too. So here comes the tofu! I would say that was the worlds biggest reality check for me. At least I know why every time I tried to stop nursing and switch her to formula she would be a super cranky baby. She is now 19 months old and still nurses. I would like to stop but seeing what she goes threw when she eats something she should not have. I don't have to worry about my older kids thankfully, they know that it could very well kill her, it's other mamas! I stopped going to my Friends houses do to this, they want to giver her treats, that break her out in hives, give her diarrhea, make her vomit. Ya you name it, it happens. I have a few friends that come over I tell them if they have sippys keep them put away or don't bring it over unless you put only water in it. Speaking of sippys Elizabeth has been drinking out of Big Girl cups before we moved that's been several months now but she does so well and doesn't spill it. She will play with it if we ignore her. We don't have her sitting in her high chair much any more she likes to sit with her sisters at the table. Shes a little small at the table, so we pulled out her booster seat that we bought for the trip out here and put it on a dinning room chair. Shes not really small thou, Elizabeth was 32 1/8'' tall last month when we had her measured. She is very tall for her age. She towers over all her little friends. Ok well I think I wrote enough I need to go to bed it's 2:00a.m. good night world!

We also found out that Eric will be deploying again in the middle to end of the summer.

My computer, Sims2 and that crappy SecuRom ...

This past month has been very crappy, no make that the past 2 1/2months. Computer problems started early September. Both of my computers had crashed. The one it needs another hard drive, easy fix, but I am waiting to do that. The other I have no idea whats wrong with it. I have taken it to a computer shop they keep saying virus, but I do a virus scan every day and nothing. I think it has to do with the Sims2 and that stupid security program that they have on it called SecuROM. SecuRom causes a lot of problems and it doesn't come off your computer when you take Sims2 off. It causes problems with anti-virus programs, The rewritable drives, soft wear that does the rewriting, Hard Drive, ah I think you get the point. It's just a nasty little program. I wish that they where not putting SecuRom in the Sims3 I really wanted that game, but not at the price of another computer. Not unless I can have a computer built that doesn't have most of the stuff that I mentioned above.
